President, Executive Director

Ryan is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the State of Nebraska and holds a Master of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma.  He is currently working on his Ph.D. in Counseling.  Ryan is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers and also works as an adjunct professor at local colleges.  Ryan provides continuing education classes to other substance abuse counselors in the State of Nebraska and is Certified QPR Suicide Prevention Trainer.  Ryan has created Abintra’s programs for the Education Courses, Outpatient Program, Intensive Outpatient Program, and Adolescent/Family Education Course.  At the end of the 2007-08 school year, Ryan was awarded Millard Public School’s “Expanding Horizons” Award for “Making a difference by enhancing students learning of curriculum through practical experience in the school environment.”  This came from his monthly lectures at Horizon High School. Congratulations Ryan!

Steven R. Durant, AAS, PLADC

Outpatient Counseor

Steven has recently graduated from Metropolitan Community College with an Associates of Applied Sciences degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling. He is a Provisionally Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Future plans include attending the University of Nebraska Omaha starting in the Fall of 2011 and eventually pursuing a Masters degree in Counseling. Steven has completed two internships at Abintra and is currently employed as an outpatient counselor.
