Offering a Full Continuim of Outpatient Care
Intensive Outpatient Treatment
This is a six-week program that meets on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings from 6-9pm, including one individual counseling session every week. This program is typically followed by aftercare. We use our own curriculum for this program, which was developed in-house by our staff. It is based upon best-practice for work with substance abuse clients.
Outpatient Treatment
This is a six-week program that meets on Monday evenings from 6-9 pm, including four individual sessions.
Aftercare
This is a program that allows for continued participation in an active change process. It can vary in length from eight weeks to one year. It includes one individual session for evey two weeks in the aftercare program.
Alcohol and Drug Education
Abintra offers a ten-hour alcohol and drug education course. This is done on Monday evenings from 6-9 for three weeks. You will have to call to enroll, as these classes only begin on certain Mondays.
Family Education Course for Adolescents
This four-hour course is offered to adolescents and their parents, and lasts four hours. Its main objectives include opening the lines of communication between family members in regards to substances. It is normally offered every Saturday, or upon arrangement with staff.
